Pre-K Open House tomorrow, July 30th in the auditorium. We can't wait to see you!

Today was watermelon day!!! We read The Watermelon Seed about the crocodile who was scared about turning into a watermelon when he swallowed a seed😂. We took turns drawing a lettered watermelon seed out of a bag. We had to determine whether it was a capital letter or not. If it was we dotted that letter on our sheet. We had fun connecting the dots to make and color a watermelon. 🍉 we got to glue our names on the top. The letters were watermelon seeds. Annie said “This is so cool!”We sang watermelon songs and ate watermelon flavored popsicles! We can’t wait until Monday—baseball day⚾️ (Mrs. Cindy can’t wait to show us a pic and talk about Gunnar Henderson—Go Orioles!!)

Today in summer camp we talked about camping. We watched Curious George goes camping. We read a few books about camping. We sang, “Going on a Bear Hunt”. We built a campfire, sang campfire songs, and pretended to roast marshmallows. We played a game with our counting bears. We had to roll the die and put that many bears in the tray. Each person won a round! We painted a forest seen with q tips. It was a great day!

Happy Father's Day
