Mrs. Nikki Franklin wasn't quite sure how she would feel about a move after being at the same school for twenty years. Taking a leap, she transferred to the pre-K program at Lincoln Central Academy this year, and she has loved every moment!
The new friendships she has made, as well as the relationships she has created with her co-workers, have made the experience such a positive one, says Franklin. She is thankful for her new tribe that keeps her going and encourages her, going on to say, " I'm doing exactly what God called me to do—teaching is in my heart."
She is honored to be chosen to represent LCA this year as their “Teacher of the Year.” This award means so much, knowing her administration and peers thought enough of her to nominate and vote for this "newbie" to the team as she describes herself. Franklin was honored with balloons and flowers from her sidekicks in the classroom as well.
