Due to the weather forecast for this afternoon, Lincoln County Schools will be closing at the following times: Lincoln County High School at 1:45 PM; K8 schools at 2 PM. All afternoon school activities are cancelled.

In this week's posting of "ThrowbackLC," we go back to the early days of Flintville High School. In the 1947-48 Beacon there were some loose pages and one was a copy of the 1945 Graduating Class. Also is the Student Council and Annual Staff from those years.

Lincoln County High Schools CTE Director, Susan Welch (third left) accepts a check for $80,000 from Andy Popp Director of Ariens Fayetteville Operations to build the program's second mobile STEM lab that provides students in Kindergarten through eighth-grade access to Virtual Reality programs, as well as 3D printers.
